An event commemorating the victims of the genocide of Armenians in
Azerbaijan in 1988 will take place in the Israeli city of Petah Tikva
on March 26, Yerkramas newspaper of Armenians of Russia quotes the
press attache of the “Ararat” Union of Armenians of Israel Mendel
Korsunski as saying.
The event will feature the screening of the Hebrew translation of the
documentary about the massacre of Armenians in Sumgayit. Prominent
public figures, diplomats and clergymen will participate in the event.
