With clarity and purpose may you learn well to care for her on whose back you walk…Mother Earth.

Even now, it is we who learn from you, as we watch you grow.
You forgive so quickly, and you love so unconditionally.

The light of spirit shines so brightly within you.

May you cultivate these things as you grow to become the leaders of tomorrow.

May you learn to live in harmony with one another, that your world may be a world of peace.

  6. Dotta Raphels – Dotta Raphels was born in the Eastern part of Nigeria, in Imo State. She is a freelance writer and blogger. She grew up amid a culture of folk-tales, myths, fables and a belief in the supernatural. As a child, she travelled the world over, through the enthralling pages of the many books she read, in a bid to escape the realities of growing up in a polygamous home. The next milestone towards a career in writing was set by her literature teacher, Mr. Andy Chukwujekwu. He was a wizard with words and challenged Dotta and her peers to defy the odds and make themselves heard. He was able to evoke any feeling he desired from his class. Dotta wanted to be just like him. Dotta wrote her first novel in 1989. Unfortunately this manuscript was lost when her word processor was stolen in 1994, in London. To date Dotta has written five novels, one of which is the newly published Adaora. The many stories she weaves are based upon the history of her magical hometown, Nkwessi. A place she considers the most beautiful place on earth. Dotta Raphels currently resides in Houston, Texas with her peculiar vegan husband and seven quirky children, two of which are know-it-all twins and a bossy last born, queen Elizabeth. Her writing is influenced by their individual characters.

  7. Baydreamer - Lauren Scott – United States – Welcome to my corner of this wonderful community where I share my poetry, short stories, and occasional photos. My husband and I have been married for almost thirty-five years, and we have two adult children. Our furry family member is Copper, an 80-lb chocolate lab mix, and he just turned 13 years old. I have published two collections of poetry: New Day, New Dreams (2013) and Finding a Balance (2015). My memoir, More than Coffee, was published in 2021, and my recent publication is a poetry collection titled Ever So Gently released in July. I have finished my first children’s book and am working with my illustrator with plans to publish in 2024.   10. Vashti Q – My name is Vashti and I am a fiction writer. My first novel "The Basement" was released August 20th, 2013. I finished my 2nd novel "Lilith" a fantasy aimed at a YA/Adult audience. I'm in the middle of writing my 3rd novel "Dracul" (Fantasy for YA/Adult). Obviously I love reading and writing, but I also love traveling, animals, nature, hiking, kayaking, watching basketball, good movies, UFC, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends. I have an adventurous spirit and love to have fun and laugh. I love traveling to new and exciting destinations and meeting new people.

I sold my restaurant and lounge and my designer boutique above with a Iron rough staircase with red shag carpeting looking over a little creek, waterfall and dinning all the way up through the boutique Moved to Palm Springs.. Tell you what I just woke up and I am in my first stage of waking up... to be continued -Sherri
