TripAdvisor®, the travel planning and booking site, today announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice® awards for beaches. The gorgeous Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos won the top honor as the best beach in the world this year, up from the number two ranking last year and reclaiming the top spot it held in 2016. Florida’s Clearwater Beach was the number one beach in America, up three spots from its U.S. ranking one year ago, and capturing the top spot in the country it held in 2016. Award winners were determined based on the quantity and quality of traveler reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor, gathered over a 12-month period.
“Soft sand, clear waters and balmy temperatures are common threads among these Travelers’ Choice award-winning beaches that have delighted millions of TripAdvisor reviewers across the globe,” said Brooke Ferencsik, senior director of communications for TripAdvisor.
“The Caribbean and Florida stake claims as the most decorated on the world and U.S. lists respectively, and based on TripAdvisor price reports, travellers can still find outstanding value on warm-weather escapes to these popular beaches this year.”
To help travellers plan their next beach trip, TripAdvisor has identified highly-rated value hotels near the award-winning beaches this March as well as great round-trip airfare found on TripAdvisor over the next six months.

Wow, 3 in Hawaii itself! I am planning for a vacation in Hawaii soon…let’s see if i can hit them 🙂
Reblogged this on Espiritu en Fuego/A Fiery Spirit and commented:
I need to be in Hawaii, Florida or California between January and April. I would only return to New York in late April. I need Fun in the Sun.
Sigh… I wouldn’t mind any of those places right now. But of course, Calfornia is on top!!
Some years ago we had a condo right on the beach in Pompano, Fla. just north of Fort Lauderdale. No more beautiful sport, either day or night. The warm balmy breezes at night relaxes one for a comfortable sleep.

All top beaches my friend, including the ones around the world, alas the judges have never been to Australia, for here you will find Beaches from the original Garden of Eden resort.
There are even more beautiful beaches. I remember the Golden Sands in Cyprus. It was so lovely there.

The only one I’ve been to is the Santa Monica beach, which is definitely beautiful, however I think more about the shops and goings on surrounding the beach than the actual beach itself.
wow – this is a very different approach, I appreciate your word!!
I’ve been to about three of the American beaches and none of the international. Well, honestly, I’m not much of a beach person anymore.
I am so happy to read over your reply, you made my day…Thank you!!!
So many beautiful beaches you present here! I would need to wear sunscreen and a hat to go to any of them though as I have fair skin. Thanks for the traveling through this post <3
