  3. Baydreamer - Lauren Scott – United States – Welcome to my space where I share my poetry, short memoirs, and anything else that comes to mind. My husband and I have been married for thirty-three years, and not only do we still love each other, but we still like each other too. We have two adult children and I'm grateful that we're still a close family. Our furry family member is Copper, our 80-lb chocolate lab mix, and he sheds and drools a lot, but we love him just the same. I have published two collections of poetry: New Day, New Dreams and Finding a Balance. And my latest book that was published in September of 2021 is a memoir in verse and prose. When you visit, my wish is that you find something to take with you, but that you also find something enticing enough to keep bringing you back. I truly appreciate your visit. Love, Lauren

My published works are epic fantasy, urban fantasy, and mysteries touched with magic. Most are set in other eras, probably because I never really felt at home in my own time. 14. restlessjo – Hi! I’m Jo! Johanna when I’m feeling posh, Jan to my Dad, and Joasiu to my Polish family. A bit of a mix-up, that’s me. The one constant, however, is my restless nature. I love to travel and to explore our world. It doesn’t have to be the big wide world. I can be ridiculously happy not too far from home, so long as I’m seeking new horizons. Of course I have a wish list, and it was to help me fulfil my dreams that I started to write travel guides for a venture called Simonseeks. I’d always kept a travel diary, and it was hugely satisfying to share my experiences and to make new friends who shared my passion for travel. Alas, Simonseeks hit a few troubles, but I still find myself writing about my travels. I’ve become addicted. I’d love to share them, and to make more friends. So, it has to be a blog- right? Or do I mean- write?

  16. philipbrockman – 69 and single. Business and Marketing background. Half global traveler, half hermit. If I were a company, I'd be BASF; because I don't make anything, I make everything better.
    philipbrockman says:

I too was pleased to see this line-up, as Paul McCartney’s ‘Baby I’m Amazed’ is a British ‘I can’t Stop Loving You’.
In ’86 my kids and I were having dinner in Macon GA, when Ray came in to eat. The patrons of the hotel were begging for him to play something, and he said only until his meal was ready. I think they took an extra long time preparing it, cause he played for over a half hour for us.
I had the pleasure of booking The Righteous Brothers into the Golden Bear (Huntington Be. CA) with James Brown back in ’79.
I hate the Bee Gees so I’d replace that with Van Morrison’s ‘Into the Mystic’. If you are not familiar, have a listen.
    An Irish love ballad.
And thank you for the like on my post as well.
