  4. Lydia – Hi, I live in a small Central Texas town South of Austin, Texas. I live there with my husband, Mom, two temperamental cats and one fish that one of my g'daughters named 'Dude,' I am an attorney on inactive status due to my health. I am on a journey towards self discovery and transformation. I created "Seeking Querencia" to help me document and facilitate that journey. I ❤️ to write, paint and mixed media, collecting crystals and succulents, time with family and friends, being born and raised in New Orleans, container gardening, candles, yoga, and meditation.

    This is more timely than you can ever know. I was released from ICU yesterday after a slip and fall resulting in two brain bleeds. It was terrifying, but I was blessed and that no medical intervention was necessary.

    I’ve always made it a point to let those that I ❤️ know how I feel, but I still felt that there was more to say when my baby brother died so many years ago. I’ve tried not to make the same mistake.
