I speak of silences
with stars
silences for two
with signs
and messages
and sculptures of complicity
a soft silence like tenderness
and exhilarating Love
We recognize true love in that the silence of the other is no longer a void to be filled
but a complicity to be respected
“Kindness
is never weakness
if it has potential
to cause death.
So, if you can
“kill them with kindness,”
the ball is in your court.
YOU have the power!”
Introducing Magic melodies for the soul
“IF I’M GOING TO BE A LIGHT WORKER, I CANNOT LET THOSE IN THE DARKNESS DIM MY LIGHT”
Picking songs for an album is an art form in itself..I tell ya! However, I loved all the songs that were recorded and it was so hard to leave some off. There’s some really special songs in there and I hope you enjoy them!
In spite of myself, the insidious mastery of song
Betrays me back, till the heart of me weeps to belong
To the old Sunday evenings at home, with winter outside
And hymns in the cosy parlour, the tinkling piano our guide.
So now it is vain for the singer to burst into clamour
With the great black piano appassionato. The glamour
Of childish days is upon me, my manhood is cast
Down in the flood of remembrance, I weep like a child for the past.
Stay or go
I cant stand it anymore.
You must know – me or her.
You are wavering and that hurts.
I will not die when you leave me,
I will not cry you can believe me.
Night after night I am waiting for you,
Night after night I am longing for you –
For your touch, for your love.
Stay or go
You need us both, I know.
Shes your wife, thats true,
But Im not made to share my love with her.
I will not die when you leave me,
I will not cry you can believe me.
Night after night I am waiting for you,
Night after night I am longing for you –
For your touch, for
you tell me that he really hurt you
hurt you, oh, so bad
you wonder how he could desert you
god, he made you mad
were you nothing but a victim
did you never have a choice
it takes two to tango
didn’t you wear familiar clothes
the ones you wear so well
didn’t you blush just like a rose
on your way to hell
were you nothing but a victim
did you never have a choice
it takes two to tango
were you nothing but a victim
did you never have a choice
it takes two to tango
weren’t you once head over heels
weren’t you, oh, so sure
if she’s to blame for how you feel
who will be the cure
were you nothing but a victim
did you never have a choice
oh, it takes two to tango
hey, now, even if your arm was twisted
what happened to your voice
oh, it takes two to tango
We have walked in Love’s land a little way, We have learnt his lesson a little while, And shall we not part at the end of day, With a sigh, a smile?
A little while in the shine of the sun, We were twined together, joined lips forgot How the shadows fall when day is done, And when Love is not.
We have made no vows – there will none be broke, Our love was free as the wind on the hill, There was no word said we need wish unspoke, We have wrought no ill.
So shall we not part at the end of day, Who have loved and lingered a little while, Join lips for the last time, go our way, With a sigh, a smile.
You lose your love for her and then
It is her who is lost,
And then it is both who are lost,
And nothing is ever as perfect as you want it to be.
In a very ordinary world
A most extraordinary pain mingles with the small routines,
The loss seems huge and yet
Nothing can be pinned down or fully explained.
You are afraid.
If you found the perfect love
It would scald your hands,
Rip the skin from your nerves,
Cause havoc with a computered heart.
You lose your love for her and then it is her who is lost.
You tried not to hurt and yet
Everything you touched became a wound.
You tried to mend what cannot be mended,
You tried, neither foolish nor clumsy,
To rescue what cannot be rescued.
You failed,
And now she is elsewhere
And her night and your night
Are both utterly drained.
How easy it would be
If love could be brought home like a lost kitten
Or gathered in like strawberries,
How lovely it would be;
But nothing is ever as perfect as you want it to be.
