Please allow me to share my sincerest appreciation and gratitude. Just wanted to let you know that I was  nominated by Kim Gosselin for the  ELITE  Versatile Blogger Award. 

I am honored and humbled  Kim Gosselin receive and accept your award.

The main reason for my accepting my own nomination was to recognize some of the very lovely souls and blogs out there, and share them with others. I completely understand if you don’t resonate with following the guidelines, and/or don’t have the time to do so.

I had every heartfelt intention of accepting this lovely award long ago.  Within days of receiving it however, my bowl of life began to overflow with commitments.  Lorrie understood, telling me to, “Take my time.”  No matter now many days passed, her kind heart full of love and appreciation was never far from my mind.

        I looked it up online. I’ve forgotten the little bit of Hebrew I learned in seminary before I quit my studies. I did enjoy studying it. In seminary we were encouraged to learn to read the religious texts in their original languages.

  5. dyane – Santa Cruz Mountains, California – In October 2007, I was diagnosed with postpartum bipolar one disorder (also called bipolar disorder, peripartum onset), hospitalized seven times, took over 30 meds & had two rounds of ECT. I'm doing much better these days! My book "Birth of a New Brain - Healing from Postpartum Bipolar"(Post Hill Press) is available on Amazon. As a freelance writer, I've profiled luminaries including Dr. Kay Redfield Jamison, SARK, and Anthony Bourdain. My articles have appeared in "Good Times," "Growing Up In Santa Cruz," "Scotts Valley/San Lorenzo Valley Press Banner," "Central Coast Parent", and "Fit" magazine. I've been honored as a "Story of Hope and Recovery" by the International Bipolar Foundation, a DBSA Life Unlimited and a PsychCentral Mental Health Hero, but the accomplishment I'm most proud of is getting out of bed every day and caring for my two young children and Lucy, our Scottish collie.

  7. Let's CUT the Crap! – Canada – I'm getting a little LONG in the tooth and have things to say about---ouch---AGEing. I believe it's certainly a state of mind but sometimes it's nice to hear that you're NORMAL. I enjoy reading by the truckload. I'm a grandma but I don't feel OLD although I'm not so young anymore. My plan is to stick it out as long as I can on this lovely planet and only will leave it kicking and screaming!

  12. Kev – Kevin Cooper is an Author & Songwriter. After years of studying, and even more, years working in education, and management in the US, he returned to his hometown in England where he finally settled down to focus on his writing and music. He has since authored several works and recorded/released a few of his songs. He is currently working on several small writing projects, and working towards his first full music album. Kevin Cooper obtained an M.Ed in Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University. He also did some post-graduate studies in Christian Counselling and Psychopathology at Asbury Theological Seminary. He completed his baccalaureate studies in Psychology with a minor in Classical Greek from Asbury College after devoting his first two years to studying Music Composition, and Religion at Western Kentucky University.
