I love you

I love you,
though your name poisons
my tongue—a toxic echo lost
from my alphabet

Your lips will moan verses
down my spine, your fingers trace
plaintive poems in my skin

I’ll breathe wilted romances on your
chest, my hair grazing your face,
your kiss staining sorrow
in my gaze

Because You Are You

I smile without a reason,
And wait for you without a plan.
No clock, no promise, just the thought of you—
Enough to make my heart stand.

I remember you in joy’s soft light,
When laughter fills the air.
But I miss you most in silence,
When I reach, and you’re not there.

You are not a moment, you are all the space between,
In every pause, in every scene.
No need for words, no need for proof—
Just the quiet truth:
I feel you, because you are you.

A touch never spoken

A touch never spoken
only written yr hands
are encrusted w/ ink
The silence Btwn phrases
is reflected in yr chest

And I—still falling
into that line
where U undress me
w/ nothing
but the pause
before a word
Silence becomes the loudest
language among all

How soft the night feels

How soft the night feels,
yr breath grazing my skin
Maybe I’ve fallen in love
with the Moon

I wrapped myself in the mist
letting its murmurs sway
upon the sea

As though you’re the verse
that slips from my mind, &
there, beneath your gaze,
my poems shine
illuminated by the stars

Every year, July 4 reminds Americans not just of fireworks and barbecues, but of a powerful turning point in history—the moment a young nation found its voice!

Happy 4th of July! Wishing you time to reflect, to rest, and to enjoy the people around you. No matter where you are, may the spirit of liberty and unity reach you today. Hope your Independence Day sparkles as bright as the fireworks tonight!
