The Blue Cafe

My world is miles of endless roads
That leaves a trail of broken dreams
Where have you been I hear you say
I will meet you at the Blue Café
This is where the one who knows
Meets the one who does not care
The cards of fate, the older shows
The younger one, who dares to take
The chance of no return

Where have you been?
Where are you going to?
I want to know what is new
I want to go with you
What have you seen?
What do you know that is new?
Where are you going to?
Because I want to go with you

The cost is great, the price is high
Take all you know, and say goodbye
Your innocence, inexperience
Mean nothing now
Because, this is where the one who knows
Meets the one who does not care
Where have you been I hear you say
I’ll meet you at the Blue Café

Where have you been?
Where are you going to?
I want to know what is new
I want to go with you
What have you seen?
What do you know that is new?
Where are you going to?
Because I want to go with you

So meet me at the Blue Café
I Said meet me down at the Blue Café

Where have you been?
Where are you going to?
I want to know what is new
I want to go with you
What have you seen?
What do you know that is new?
Where are you going to?
I want to go with you

Down to the blue
I Will meet you at the blue café
I Will meet you at the blue café
The Blue Café

If You Give me Your Heart

If you give me your heart,i’ll give you my soul
And i Love you my love until we both old
All i wanna do is love you and for you to love me too
And we can work it out if i can just get to you

Each time that i’ve been hurt, its been by my man
And i’m afraid it wont work, can’t you understand
A woman can’t afford to love you,
if she cant afford to cry,She can’t give her heart to each sweet talkin guy

If you give me your heart,i’ll give you my soul
And i will Love you my love until we both old
I want you to know i wanna be your lady,
and all i wanna i still wanna be your man
come on let me love you we outta give it a chance.

I admit it i love the sound,on what your saying to me
but if i let you love me what do you guarantee ?

If you give me your heart,i’ll give you my soul
And i will Love you my love until we both old
I wanna be your lady, all i still do wanna be your man
come on let me love you we outta give it a chance.
(baby i tell ya)
come on let me love you we outta give it a chance.
(baby’ baby’)
come on let me love you we outta give it a chance.

why dont you,why dont you,why dont you
come on let me love you we outta give it a chance.

Stay With Me

I’m writing this poem

For a very special lady,

Always and forever,

She’ll always be my baby

I dream of holding her,

In my arms so tight,

If loving her is wrong,

Then I don’t wanna be right.

I dream of kissing her,

Her lips so sweet

She’s so beautiful,

She knocks me off my feet.

The way I feel about her,

Words can’t express,

Through good times and bad,

I won’t love her any less

This special lady means so much to me,

Love Is Blind

Love Is Blind

Sometimes people go their whole life,
looking for that one, special person.
Sometimes they find what they’re looking for,
when others come back empty handed.
And sometimes, you will find that the one you’ve been looking for,
was standing infront of you the whole time.
Sometimes, love is blind.

Years of love,
Many years of friendship.
One kiss was all it took.

I look into your eyes,
and I fall deep in love;
everytime.

Your love,
Your passion,
Your tenderness.

In your heart,
in your eyes
and in your arms;
I feel so safe.

You are like an angel,
Rays of beauty erupts from the sky.
You, like a mountian calls my name;
And I anwser.

I love you like it’s set in stone.
I’ll love you forever,
and that is all we’ve known.

No more ‘what if’s’
No more ‘could be’s’
Becuase you,
only my eyes see.

Not only knowing,
until you open your eyes.
To a life of happiness
because sometimes,
Love is blind.

Other Lives And Dimensions And Finally A Love Poem

My left hand will live longer than my right. The rivers
of my palms tell me so.
Never argue with rivers. Never expect your lives to finish
at the same time. I think

praying, I think clapping is how hands mourn. I think
staying up and waiting for paintings to sigh is science. In another dimension this
is exactly what’s happening,

it’s what they write grants about: the chromo dynamics
of mournful Whistlers,
the audible sorrow and beta decay of Old Battersea Bridge.
I like the idea of different

theres and elsewhere, an Idaho known for bluegrass,
a Bronx where people talk
like violets smell. Perhaps I am somewhere patient, somehow
kind, perhaps in the nook

of a cousin universe I’ve never defiled or betrayed
anyone. Here I have
two hands and they are vanishing, the hollow of your back
to rest my cheek against,
your voice and little else but my assiduous fear to cherish.
My hands are webbed
like the wind-torn work of a spider, like they squeezed
something in the womb

but couldn’t hang on. One of those other worlds
or a life I felt
passing through mine, or the ocean inside my mother’s belly
she had to scream out.

Here, when I say I never want to be without you,
somewhere else I am saying
I never want to be without you again. And when I touch you
in each of the places we meet,

in all of the lives we are, it’s with hands that are dying
and resurrected.
When I don’t touch you it’s a mistake in any life,
in each place and forever.

Mihran Kalaydjian Wishing Happy Valentine’s To A very Special Lady

How do I begin to tell you
how lucky I am to have you in my life?
I’ll start by saying what a gift you gave me
the day you became my wife.

You’re my best friend in the good times
and my rock in times of sorrow.
You’re the reason for sweet yesterdays
and my promise for tomorrow.

I never thought I could feel this loved
until you became my wife.
You made this year and every year
the best one of my life.
